COVID-19: UPDATE ON SERVICES
The board of elders has been closely monitoring the every evolving situation and meets weekly to determine how we can best protect the health of our congregants and community. The latest updates will posted here and will be emailed to members weekly.
Sunday Morning Worship
Sunday morning worship in the sanctuary will resume beginning Sunday, May 24.
There will be two services: 8:00 am and 10:30 am. We are implementing several changes to ensure social distancing is maintained such as roping off every other pew and not passing offering plates. We will also be utilizing a careful cleaning regimen before each service in compliance with CDC guidelines.
If you are not comfortable coming back to church at this time, all will respect your decision.
If you are sick, or have been exposed to someone who is sick, out of love for fellow members and visitors, please do not attend.
We will still broadcast a service on Sunday morning at 10:30 am on KBIK 102.9 FM and recorded sermon videos will still be posted on our website and Facebook page.
Sunday School and Bible Study
Adult Bible Study will resume on September 13th at 9:15 am in the church sanctuary.
These decisions were made not out of fear, but out of love for our neighbor – particularly love for the most vulnerable among us. Even though the situation continues to change hour-by-hour, we need not fear. As St. Paul writes to the Philippians:
The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
– Philippians 4:5-7
